 芬蘭AVARTE OY 公司成立于1980年,是北歐最著名的家具商之一,產品來自當代頂尖家具設計大師約里奧·庫卡波羅(YRJO KUKKAPURO)為首的設計團隊.
庫卡波羅是一位堅定的功能主義者, 50年代,他是第一位將人體工學引入家具設計的設計師;他的作品簡潔、質樸、高雅、結構暴露,充分體現北歐簡約風格; 他將生態(tài)學/人體工學/美學列為家具設計要素,希望產品可靠/耐用/舒適/環(huán)保
在漫長的設計生涯中,庫卡波羅的設計風格從不追風,從不逐流,在許多曇花一現般的流行風格前,庫卡波羅的作品更顯歷久彌新;今天,庫卡波羅的早期作品依然在全球范圍生產流通,而且就像五、六十年前一樣,充滿現代感。
庫卡波羅教授的足跡遍布世界范圍,他的作品14次被包括紐約現代藝術博物館、德國VITRA設計博物館等永久收藏,1963-1980年期間,以校長和客席教授身份施教多個國家的設計院校（包括中國江南大學、南京林業(yè)大學等）,1980年至今,講學于世界各地,并堅持創(chuàng)作設計,每年都有新的設計作品推出。
Timeless furniture
The core of Avarte’s collection are the classics designed by the company’s principal designer, Yrjo Kukkapuro in the 1960’s, for example Karuselli, Remmi, Ateljee and Funktus chairs. One of Kukkapuro’s favourite sayings, “Does it make any sense to design a chair which is not good to sit on.” describes Avarte’s love for ergonomic furniture. Kukkapuro has also states that a designer should be an artist, a doctor and an engineer in the same time. Kukkapuro’s timeless pieces are displayed for example in New York MoMA’s and London Victoria and Albert Museum’s permanent collections. Today, Avarte collaborates also with other leading designers like Mikko Paakkanen, the designer of the much praised Nietos-chair, who was nominated as the Young Designer of the year 2006.

Projects worldwide
AVARTE has participated in many interior design projects worldwide. We have supplied furniture to several projects designed by famous architects, such as cultural centres, city halls, offices of many international corporations, universities and other institutes, banks and hospitals.
Modern classics
For example the following museums have taken furniture designed by Yrj? Kukkapuro for AVARTE to their permanent collections: New York: Museum of Modern Art, London: Victoria and Albert Museum, Hamburg: Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Weil am Rhein: Vitra Design Museum, Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Helsinki museums of industrial art, and the National Museum in Stockholm.
Environment
Rational use of materials and timeless design combined with the high quality, durability and long lifespan of furniture is the most essential factor for our environment. A piece of furniture stresses the environment at the most when it is taken to the dump. AVARTE furniture are made for long term use and their lifespan is prolonged by the availability of replacement parts, which are easy to change.

Designer:Yrjo Kukkapuro
Professor Kukkapuro has been the company's principal designer from the very beginning. His designs reflect an awareness of space and its function, be it the space of classical or modern buildings. Furniture has been designed by making it complement the architecture of the building, by making it assimilate with the space without dominating it. Avarte and Kukkapuro often work in close co-operation with architects. Even though many products have originally been designed, tested and manufactured for a certain environment, many of them have proven appropriate for other corresponding projects. This may result from the universality of the products and the fact that they seldom point to any specific style or era. Some products have also been manufactured in different versions suitable for many public facilities.
Kukkapuro studied under Ilmari Tapiovaara and Olli Borg who taught him the practical meaning of functionalism, and young Kukkapuro greatly respected their wisdom and philosophy. Later he became the principal and professor of the University of Industrial Arts, and in his teaching he continued and expressed his functional thinking. His form language is based on a simple, clear and often imposing functionality which takes into account materials and their natural formal aspects as well. The outcomes of the design work are perfect wholes precisely because functionality in all its manifestations is their core. This is appropriate for Kukkapuro who wishes to avoid excessive personification and who does not want to present hyperbolic views about design, either.

豐托思－形式與功能的完美結合
這一系列產品始于庫卡波羅1992年為芬蘭赫爾辛基新歌劇院的專門設計。它要求有強
烈的個性和近乎數學般的精確造型。
最初的532與新歌劇院達到了完美的統一。542和它的姐妹544是之后從532發(fā)展出
來的新產品，它可以疊摞放置，易于相互連接，有可拆卸的寫字板。以及隨有誕生的 522、
524 和526使這一系列能夠應用于辦公領域。
豐托思系列的人體工學質量是借助于不同科學試驗模型進行研究的，在功能與審美形式
語言上的統一發(fā)展與協調一致是近乎完美的。
豐托思 542、544主要用途及適用范圍:
公共 區(qū)域（培訓室、接待廳、會議室等功能區(qū)域）
板 材：座板和背板厚度為 9-10mm厚的定型膠合板（樺木）
椅板顏色：黑色（常規(guī)），楓木色（期貨）

軟 包：座位軟包高回彈海綿，密度45㎏/m3、厚度為30mm
靠背軟包海綿密度，36 ㎏/m3、厚度為20mm

工藝過程：用膠水將軟包固定在內模板（5mm的密度板）上，后用螺絲釘把外模板與內模板上的梅花 抓釘固定
扶 手: 黑色的半軟PU泡沫塑料（PUR=polyurtane聚乙烯氨甲酸乙脂）
架 子：靜電噴塑鋼管直徑為φ19×1.5mm\φ19×1.5mm\20×10×1.5mm 黑色（常規(guī)）、銀灰色、 鐵灰色（期貨），電鍍(定制)
腳 墊：黑色尼龍
結構特征：
豐托思542可根據客戶的不同使用要求在椅子背面添加抽拉式寫字板，黑色（常規(guī)）楓木色（期貨），但其會影響椅子的疊摞；扶手寫字板為10mm的防火板貼面的膠合板，尺寸280mm×180mm，以
轉軸方式連接在扶手上,黑色、楓木色（常規(guī)）,黑色塑料網兜
家具部件： 座板、背板、椅架 易堆放，可以疊摞減少空間；置小推車可以方便運輸
安裝步驟：
⑴用平頭螺絲把背板與座板連接起來
⑵再把座背連接板與架子安裝固定
